About the Show The concept for the Lucky Dog Show emerged from countless conversations with dog owners, manufacturers, veterinarians, store owners and publishers about issues and products that shape the pet industry today. Dog lovers are always looking for fun, cute, innovative items for their dogs, and the love to talk to each other about what they've seen, what they've tried, what works and what doesn't, emerging trends, the dog lifestyle, and common problems we all face.
This show is a laid-back,
fun conversation from one dog owner to another
about what's new, what works, and what's going on in the industry. Your host, Lisa Woody, is a founding partner in FunStuffForDogs.com, an upbeat, off-beat online store with an eclectic, unexpected collection of dog toys, treats, apparel, beds and gear. Lisa has nearly 20 years of experience in the pet industry, first as a magazine editor, then as a trade show organizer and an entrepreneur. She has also worked at a top-five advertising agency in Washington DC and was a business consultant for a firm in Dallas. She has been quoted in Dog Fancy and other publications, and her dog-related articles have appeared in Doggie Aficionado, Seattle Dog and Gulf Coast Dog. She has been a dog owner all her adult life and currently lives with her husband and their dogs in Texas. Join Lisa each Saturday morning as she talks about topics of interest to modern pet parents.
